Young talent really did set the scene today ! In perfect weather again , Round 1 of Women and Men Tricks kicked off with 15 Women chasing 8 Semi-Final places and 15 Men chasing 12 places behind the Nautique 200 competition boat. This forced all to treat it like the Finals. With both World Champions and World Record Holders involved, it was a fantastic battle. In Women Tricks, early falls by Danyelle Bennett USA and Alex Lauretano USA ruled them out. The big scores came from 19 year-old Iris Cambray FRA and 16 year old Erika Lang USA. However, World Record Holder Clementine Lucine FRA was not far behind. This will guarantee a great Semi Finals on Sunday. In Men Tricks, World Overall Champion Adam Sedlmajer CZE also went down early and did not move forward. Again, young talent shone through. Joshua Briant AUS aged 16 clocked up the second highest score. Only 22 year-old Herman Beliakou BLR could beat him. The next generations already looks good!

Top of the pile was Will Asher GBR with the only 10.25m score

Men Slalom had 28 Skiers chasing 15 Semi-Finals places. Boris Laval FRA missed his gates and upset his weekend?s plan ! The overall standard was an entire pass better than last year. Top of the pile was Will Asher GBR with the only 10.25m score. However, there was very little between the next nine Skiers. Both World Record Holder Chris Parris USA and Nate Smith USA looked very sharp.Again that Sunday Semi-Final should be a fascinating one.

Round 2 of Women Jump saw 8 athletes chasing 6 Finals places. Two dominated the score-board ? 22 year-old Whitney McClintock CAN and the star of the week so far, Natalia Berdnikova BLR. They look set to do the same in that Monday Jump Final.
