30Jan09 Sarah Green announces her retirement

Top Skier Sarah Green GBR has announced her retirement from water ski competition.
Among her most notable accomplishments are a Slalom Silver Medal at the 2005 World Championships, being the Masters Slalom Champion in 2006 and 2007 and winning the 2006 World Cup in slalom.
Her most recent title was as the 2008 EAME Slalom Champion. Sarah was first internationally ranked in 1991 and was initially an Overall skier.
Later in her career she concentrated on tricks and slalom and finally became a slalom specialist achieving the #1 Elite Ranking in 2006.
In 2007 Sarah and husband Ryan welcomed a new addition to their family, son Fletcher. Sarah set a goal of a successful return to competition and achieved that with her EAME Championship in 2008.
