All entry forms (please use the one attached) for the skiers have to be received by

by the Organizer, Fax Nbr.: +49-6227-86370

not later than 10 days before the competition starts, that is the 10th August 1998.

Any federation not meeting this requirement before the established date, should pay a fine of 10 Swiss francs per skier per day to the IWSF (World Cableski Technical Rules, Rule 2.1.).

 

Registration

The registration for all team members, officials, etc. is at the competition office at the site.The competition office is located in the entry building of the lake.

 

Opening Ceremony

All teams are requested to wear their official team dress.

 

Hotel Reservations

Please use the attached form for your hotel reservation directly with the official hotel of the competition, the Holiday Inn in Walldorf.

 

Transportation

If you need to be picked up at the airport Frankfurt or at the Heidelberg train station please inform us via fax or via Email.

 

Timetable

The timetable right now:

 

Thursday, August 20nd

13.00 – 17.00 h.: Training

18.00 h: Opening ceremony (by invitation of the comunity St.Leon-Rot)

 

Friday, August 21st

8.00 – 12.00 h: Training

Afternoon: Preliminary Rounds

 

Saturday, August 22nd

All day: Preliminary Rounds

 

Sunday, August 23rd

All day: Finals

Traveling

Airport

The next international airport is Frankfurt, where all major airlines fly to. We will provide bus transport for all teams and officials from the airport to the Holiday Inn from Tuesday to Thursday (18th – 20th August) and back Monday and Tuesday (24th + 25th August).

 

Car Rental.

The following car rental companies have offices at Frankfurt Airport:

Alamo, Avis, Europcar/Interrent, Hertz, Sixt Budget

 

Road

If you come by car, leave the motorway A5 between Frankfurt and Karlsruhe at the exit ‚Wiesloch-Walldorf‘. The Holdiday Inn is located just 200 m away and can be seen from the motorway exit. There are also signs to St.Leoner See.

 

Transport to the site.

There will be official transport provided by us from the official hotel to the lake and back during training times and during the competition.

 

Visas

Citizens of the following countries need a visa to enter Germany (only IWSF Member Federations):

Algeria, Belarus, Bermuda, Bulgaria, Cambodia, China, Cuba, Egypt, Georgia, Iran, India, Indonesia, Jordan, North Korea, Latvia, Lithuania, Mauritius, Namibia, Papua New Guinea, Peru, Philippines, Dominican Republic, Russia, Saint Lucia, South Africa, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, Vietnam, Yugoslavia, Zimbabwe.

This list may change. If you are not sure if you need a visa, please check with your local german ambassy.
