Dear Friends,
The IWSF Executive Board has approved this year a dress code for Athletes at World Title Event Award Ceremonies. This can be found in the Bylaws under Article 6.5.1.9 and reads as follows:
6.5.1.9 Dress at award ceremonies
It is the responsibility of each National Federation to ensure its medal winners wear the appropriate team uniform. Personal sponsorship on clothing shall not be permitted.
It is very important that this dress code is fully respected, as an IWSF Athlete who takes the podium to be awarded a medal is an honor not only to himself, but also to the sport of Waterski, his Federation, his Nation, and the entire IWSF, and as such must demonstrate pride in everything he stands for.
