IWSF World Wakeboard Council Announcement
Following the announcement of
the successful bid for Brazil to host the 3rd IWSF World Wakeboard
Championships, we confirm the date for the Event.
The competition will
be held from December 5 - 8, 2002 at the Lagoon de
Freitas, located in the center of Rio de Janeiro,
just 4 blocks away from the famous Ipanema Beach (Rio's richest and most chic
beach) and at the foot of the Corcovado Hill (the 750 meter mountain peak with
the statue of Christ the Redeemer at its summit).
