This is the second year that Phillip has been nominated by the WWC for Athlete of the Year. At just 16 years of age he has been competing as a professional wakeboarder for 5 years – starting his career at the age of 11.

Phillip has a rare talent that we do not see very often in many sports and this past year we  have once again seen him dominate the World Cup, taking 1st place at each of the 3 stops.

Phillip is an awesome rider with a special skill on the water, his resume already is greater than someone at the top of the sport in 5-7 years time, he has fantastic potential ahead of him to become a legend in wakeboarding.
